Workshop on Roaming and International Voice Traffic

Roaming and Voice Traffic

With advancement of network development and increasing number of 3G/4G/5G subscribers, operator’s revenue is facing intense pressure and International Roaming can be a significant source of revenue for the telecom operators. Roaming can expand their scope and help enhance their competitiveness, by improving subscriber satisfaction and loyalty, and attracting new subscribers. In addition, operators can increase revenue by providing services to subscribers served by other international operators.

This 5-day course offers an extensive knowledge on the technique and the business of International Roaming as well as its voice traffic analysis and ensure that all of the parties involved in the management and protection of roaming revenues understand their role and possess a clear framework.

After successful completion of this 5-day workshop participants will be able to

  • Understand International traffic management and roaming as business opportunities and learn on how to deal with necessary SLA
  • Improve the planning and process of International Roaming
  • Rethink the roaming strategy and know how to support it operationally
  • Learn specific traffic cases, explanation of architecture supporting different roaming scenarios, analysis of protocols.
  • Understand SS7 Network along with GSM/3G/4G/5G concepts and SIP Signaling
  • Gain knowledge on GRQ, IREG, TADIG Testing and different QoS Parameters that is used for International Roaming
  • Explain Technical knowledge on roaming infrastructure in 5G and IoT network.
