COURSE OBJECTIVES
For an industry that is responsible for ensuring efficient communication, it is paramount to ensure the safety of the people who form the backbone of the system. A myriad of hazards involved in installing and maintaining telecommunications towers, from workers needing to perform tasks at dangerous heights to installing transmission systems, cables and antennas along with risk of fall taking into consideration weather conditions. Ensuring safety in telecommunications is therefore essential for protecting human lives, maintaining network reliability, and complying with regulatory standards.
Telecontran’s Workshop on Safety and Maintenance in Telecommunications Operations and Infrastructure emphasizes on safety, health and environmental awareness and ensures that industry people are equipped with sufficient knowledge and skills needed to operate in sites with telecommunication infrastructure safely.
