Data Centre Infrastructure

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The ICT industry and the world in general are changing at an exponential pace. Thanks to the ever-growing number of devices interconnected on private and public networks, and thanks to the Internet, the scope of ICT’s responsibility continues to expand. The transformation, however, is not over, it is moving to the next level with the deployment of 5G, WiFi 6 and now enterprise edge and carrier data transport services. The challenge is building revenue by utilizing those transformation opportunities wisely, specially implementing pre-aggregation, regional and centralized data centers from core to the edge.

Telecontran’s Data Centre Infrastructure workshop provides end-to-end coverage of the infrastructure systems that support typical Data Centres and environments with high availability requirements. This workshop also provides instruction to achieve a complete understanding of the concepts, components and criteria to develop a comprehensive world class Management & Operations program for a critical facility.

After successful completion of this course, participants will be able to

  • Design a scalable and reliable data center network and in the process come to understand why to favor one technology or design principle over another.
  • Describe all components in a data centre and how to effectively setup the data centre cost efficiently and with high availability solutions.
  • Coordinate and supervise data centre facilities and equipment maintenance
  • Provide service management for data centre services
  • Enhance cooling capabilities and efficiency in the data centre by using existing and new techniques and technologies.
