Data Centre Modernization: A Strategic Mission
3 DAYS
INSTRUCTOR LED WORKSHOP
“OUR COURSES CAN BE SPECIALLY TAILORED TO ADDRESS YOUR REQUIREMENT – TELECONTRAN”

COURSE OBJECTIVES
Data center modernization goes beyond replacing aging servers, encompassing the transformation of compute, storage, networking, facilities, security, operations and workload placement. It aims to create infrastructure that is more agile, software-defined, efficient, resilient, and capable of supporting cloud-native and AI-era workloads. Industry leaders such as Cisco, IBM, and Intel emphasize AI readiness, hybrid cloud, automation, sustainability, workload assessment, and alignment with business objectives. Effective modernization is therefore a continuous, outcome-driven process focused on gradual improvement rather than technology replacement for its own sake.
Telecontran’s Data Centre Modernization workshop provides end-to-end coverage of business-aligned transformation that improves where and how workloads run, upgrades the physical and digital infrastructure that supports them, embeds automation and security into operations, and creates a resilient, efficient platform for present and future services—including AI, cloud-native, edge and data-intensive workloads.
After successful completion of this course participants will be able to:
- Differentiate a simple technology refresh from a true modernization program.
- Assess legacy constraints across workloads, compute, storage, network, power, cooling, security, operations and people.
- Use workload requirements to decide among retain, retire, rehost, re-platform, refactor, SaaS, private cloud, public cloud, colocation and edge options.
- Understand the architecture implications of AI/HPC, including accelerated compute, high-density power, liquid cooling, high-speed fabrics and modern storage.
- Explain the roles of SDDC, virtualization, HCI, containers, Kubernetes, IaC, automation, observability and AIOps.
- Integrate Zero Trust, resilience, disaster recovery, business continuity and governance into modernization from the start.
- Evaluate modernization using TCO, performance, capacity, risk, availability, energy and sustainability indicators.
- Build a phased modernization roadmap tied to business outcomes and measurable KPIs.

OUR HAPPY CLIENTS
WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT TELECONTRAN !!
It is a great honor to be part of this workshop where I learned a lot about Data centre specially on power management, data centre standards and maintenance.
This course covered most of the basis of Data Centre infrastructure, specially deigning and maintaining the data centre.
The training was very good, informative and I gained a lot of knowledge on Linux.
The training was beneficial as the information shared throughout were new and we hope to use all of this information as a guidance for us to develop the necessary regulatory approach for future deployment of data centre in our country.
The workshop was a mixture of networking and data centre terms that was extremely well presented and made very easy to understand.
