COURSE OBJECTIVES
A wireless network is a 5G network when it uses 5G New Radio (NR) compliant specifications, as defined in 3GPP’s 5G standards. A wireless network is a “5G” network when it uses 5G New Radio (NR) compliant specifications, as defined in 3GPP’s 5G standards. 5G cellular technology has enabled a variety of services and is based on New Radio (NR) air interface, new radio network architecture called Next-Generation Radio Access Network (NG-RAN), new core network architecture called Next-Generation Core (NGC) or 5G Core (5GC), Service Based Architecture (SBA), Network Slicing, and Edge Computing, bringing additional capabilities like NR-Unlicensed (NR-U), Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB), enhanced Vehicle-to-Everything (eV2X), URLLC and Industrial IoT (IIoT) enhancements.
Telecontran’s 3-day Workshop on 5G New Radio (NR) Design and Planning is designed to cover the NR physical-layer structure and higher-layer protocols, RF and spectrum aspects, and co-existence and interworking with LTE. This workshop provides a good foundation in NR and different NR technology components. Uniquely this workshop gives detailed information on RAN protocol layers, transports, network architectures, and services.
After successful completion of this workshop participants will be able to
