Workshop on GPON / FTTx and Its Design and Dimensioning
3 DAYS
INSTRUCTOR LED WORKSHOP
“OUR COURSES CAN BE SPECIALLY TAILORED TO ADDRESS YOUR REQUIREMENT – TELECONTRAN”
COURSE OBJECTIVES
The increasing demands for brand spanking new data transmission services and various bandwidth-related applications have led telecommunication operators to significantly consider glass fiber based networks. Passive Optical Network (PON) has been found as an excellent technology to fulfill service requirements along with spare capacity for modern and future applications like Triple Play, High Speed Internet solutions, multiple VoIP lines, IPTV via servers, Satellite channels, Video on Demand and OTT Services, interactive gaming etc.
PON is taken due to its simplicity, lower cost, easy to operate and maintain, scalability, reliability, and adaptability. These benefits make it more acceptable among operators and corporate sector who don’t like to get involve in complexities & economics of competitive access technologies. PONs are getting increased share in last mile market day by day. This course addresses almost all fundamentals of GPON with different ways of implementation along with their technical explanation. It also teaches planning and designing of FTTx as per service & environment requirements.
This course provides comprehensive and in depth explanation of the principles and applications of GPON and FTTx and their associated components as well as power budget calculations for different ODN designs.
After successful completion of this workshop participants will be able to
