Operations and Maintenance of Telecommunication Power System
5 DAYS
INSTRUCTOR LED WORKSHOP
“OUR COURSES CAN BE SPECIALLY TAILORED TO ADDRESS YOUR REQUIREMENT – TELECONTRAN”
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Telecommunication Power System is a crucial element of any communications network and it is one of the few elements capable of causing a total failure or malfunction of even the most sophisticated network. Cellular networking systems require huge amounts of power, and in many markets, grid power is unreliable, making diesel fuel the next best choice. Not only is replacing energy from the grid with solar energy and offsetting fossil fuel sources like diesel environmentally responsible, but it can provide telecommunications companies with higher shareholder value and lower operating expenses.
This workshop is a comprehensive 5 day course will be covering the various size of diesel generator, battery bank, charger, AMF, power monitoring, inverters, UPS, standards, including IEC and IEEE as well as best practice. In addition, that course will be included maintenance data log preservation and analysis data for forecast. This workshop is a highly focused and in-depth training provided by the industry experts along with the relevant updates from the research team.
After successful completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Understand the working principal of Telecommunications Power operation and maintenance and the global telecom incorporated standards.
- Explain the fundamental concepts of power system equipment and reliable supply and maintenance.
- Sketch necessary elements of Telecom Power Systems, such as, Diesel Generator, Batteries, Air Conditioning system, UPS, Inverters, Circuit Breakers etc.
- Illustrate Lightning and Surge Protection System as well as Earthing and Grounding requirements.
- Integrate all power system to alarm monitoring system or centralized monitoring system.
- Learn Standards and best practices.

OUR HAPPY CLIENTS
WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT TELECONTRAN !!
The workshop exhanced my knowledge about solar power calculations, power consumption, earthing, different ways of power outage, lightning foundation, surge protection etc.
Very well explained the power terms that are required by telecom network.
Covering overall power plant system used in Telecommunication as well the planning and proessing of the power system, I must say the course was very much useful in learning about Telecom Power System.
It covered all the aspects of telecom tower from the site survey, types of tower, OPEX and CAPEX of a tower site, construction of tower and maintenance plan plus safety procedures.
It was very informative sessions and have learnt a lot about Telecom Tower.
